We come here every few months. It's especially great for a group. Order a family platter and some sides, then sit back and enjoy the feast. They have a small area to eat out front by the sidewalk, a nice area inside, and then a small patio outback. It's enclosed so doesn't get a breeze but there are nice fans and it's pretty. What can I saw about the food other than it's all good?

Great place in downtown to to grab a quick or extended lunch while at work we go here a lot as a team. They're very accommodating to large groups. The food is super tasty and very delicious very authentic. It's always consistently good.

Fantastic food, great atmosphere, and lovely service. We enjoyed a Mixed Platter, Souvlaki Platter, grilled veggies, and two cocktails. The prices were fair, decor was very nice, and service was very friendly and attentive both for ourselves and all tables around us. Next time we are in Miami, we will be sure to stop by again!

Food was tasty and authentic Greek. Get the Saganaki. The flambé it table side. Our server Neil Was very welcoming and attentive.

Ever since I was a little girl, I can remember this particular strip mall right in the beginning of Alton road. Today, Meraki graces this space. It wasn't until the other day that a coworker and I were walking down the street from work that once we stumbled upon it we decided to give it a try. It was very quiet with one other couple sitting to enjoy lunch--they looked like locals enjoying a leisurely time. In my mind, this seemed like their "spot." The service was great with a kind and attentive waitress who took her time explaining the plates to us and the food was even better. I ordered the Chicken Souvlaki platter and subbed my fries for lemon potatoes. The chicken was tender and flavorful and the lemon potato's were a flavor explosion in the mouth. Perfectly peeled, poached, and quartered bathed in a what seemed like a lemon olive oil. Simply delicious. I felt great after eating the meal as it was a clean, simple, unprocessed meal with whole foods that still had a lot of flavor. For those passing by the area, there's a parking lot at Meraki which is great since beach parking can be tricky. Meraki is a must try!

This is an updated review ! Although the place moved next door they still serve delicious food ! The service and food never disappoints . I'm becoming a regular fhere

Downtown Meraki has expanded into a larger interior space. This formerly was a Brazilian rhodizio we'd enjoyed a number of times. Good luck to Meraki. We were at an arts event downtown and needed a dinner place and chose this. Take a look at the seafood offerings, several are nicely priced meals for two. We chose Tigania For 2, a variety of seafood and fish bites lightly fried. The fish, surprisingly, was salmon. Next time I'd like to try the Seafood Saganaki for 2 and have almost the same grilled. We also placed an order of Greek fries. They came a bit cold, perhaps waiting for the seafood to cook. No problem a freshly fried batch were brought to us. Service was very good; we were not in the least bit hurried. A good place downtown with reasonable prices.

Contemporary, fresh Greek restaurant. Food is fresh, light, flavored without drowning in salt. The Greek olive oil makes a huge difference. Our server Ivan highly recommended the traditional Greek salad, Grilled octopus, tatziki, and grilled cheese. .... spot on! It was all delicious! Service: 10/10, highly recommend. Server checked in with us frequently, water glasses always filled, food related questions answered with personal experience. Couldn't be better. Ambiance: contemporary Greek with some boho chic. Blue and white tastefully adorn the room and the servers, even the napkins. The details add a relaxed, outdoorsy vibe while maintaining the comfort of air conditioning amidst the Miami humidity and heat. Highly recommend

I went to Meraki Greek since I received a $15 dinner credit and was happy to see that it could be applied to their Miami Spice menu. They provided a four-course lunch for $48. I ordered Shrimp Tartar, Greek Salad, and Seafood Poikilia. For dessert, I chose Galaktoboureko and an espresso. Ivan was my bartender, and he recommended fantastic menu options and shared the happy hour specials with me. I discovered they had mixed drinks on special for $9 each. So I ordered two caprinihas. My biggest issue was locating reasonably priced parking. The closest parking lot had a flat rate of $20. There is almost no street parking in the area. Mostly valets. I walked over from one of the street parking lots in front of Bayside, where I paid $5 per hour. Overall, everything was delicious. The restaurant was clean. The staff was polite and attentive. Highly recommend.

Came here for a birthday work lunch and loved the food. Unfortunately the grill wasn't working when we were there so a good chunk of the menu wasn't available. It was also soooo hot inside and can't imagine what it would be like with the grill on! The food is flavorful and reminds me of the food I ate in Greece. I would definitely come back and pray the AC is working or it's cooler.
